Deborah A. Cutillo

1957 - 2026

Deborah A. Cutillo (Mulvihill), age 68, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 18, 2026, surrounded by her devoted family and dear friends.

Debbie is survived by her beloved husband, Charles J. Cutillo; her daughter, Briana Kates (Robert); her son, James (John Dacpano); her mother, Helen Mulvihill (McNally); her sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Thomas McAllister; her cherished grandchildren, Anthony and Gianna Kates; and her nieces and nephew, Victoria Gunstensen (Erik), Michael McAllister, and Lauren Weiszgerber (Lenny).

Debbie was a loving wife to Chalie since 1981. Together, Debbie and Chalie built a joyful and loving life, while raising two beautiful children, Briana and James, whom they adored. In 2015, they became proud grandparents with the birth of Anthony, and were blessed again with a granddaughter, Gianna, in 2021.

Debbie and Chalie embraced being grandparents with the same excitement and love they brought to parenthood. They enjoyed attending games, school events, and creating memorable moments together. One of Debbie’s fondest memories was the summer spent together in Wildwood, New Jersey. Holidays and everyday moments alike were made sweeter by Debbie’s thoughtful gifts and her love of spoiling her grandchildren. The love she gave her grandchildren was returned to Debbie in countless moments of laughter, hugs, and handmade gifts.

Being a grandmother brought Debbie immense happiness, and she created memories filled with laughter that Anthony and Gianna will forever cherish.

Debbie graduated from Frankford High School and went on to work as a legal secretary for over 30 years. Outside of work, her artistic talents shone through in many hobbies, including ceramics, scrapbooking, crocheting, interior design, and calligraphy. Debbie was an avid reader and cherished time spent with a good book. She could often be found singing along to her favorite songs and was typically the first out on the dance floor.

Above all, Debbie excelled at being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, as well as a loyal and devoted friend. She shared love, laughter, and her quick wit with everyone she met, always offering kindness and a listening ear.

Throughout her lengthy battle with cancer, Debbie was a source of unwavering strength and an inspiration to all who knew her. In short, Debbie was a miracle.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Debbie’s life on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. A viewing will be held at St. Albert the Great, 212 Welsh Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006, beginning at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass at 10:30 AM. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon immediately following the service. All are welcome to attend.
