Deborah “Debbie” Frank, 62, of West Harrison, died late in the evening Wednesday, March 11th, 2026. (let’s just stop the formalities there, she would have hated it.)
Debbie was a daughter, mother, and Granny-- one of her favorite roles. She was also a friend to many, a Sunday therapist to some, and unapologetically authentic. She either loved you or couldn’t stand your ass and let you know it to your face, but if you stayed in your lane, you could coincide amicably. She loved her family fiercely; but family extended beyond blood ties, she adopted a tribe of misfits as her extended family, and she loved them just as much.
She was preceded in death by her great grandparents Hiram & Maudie Reynolds of Keavy, KY; grandparents Joe & Gladys Nolte of Lawrenceburg, IN; beloved aunts and uncles and “her boys”, the O.G. tribe members, Jimmy Baker & Terry Harmon. She leaves behind her parents Don & Betty Howard; daughter & son-in-law Jessica & John Coletta; granddaughters Luna Monnig & Gia Coletta.
Per Debbie’s explicit request there will be no funeral or burial services. In lieu of the mundane rituals following death, Debbie has requested one last hoo-rah , to take place Sunday, March 22nd ,2026 at The Possum Saloon in Bright, IN. Please come thirsty, ready to laugh, swap stories, and celebrate a one- of -a kind individual, characterized by independent thought, courage to embrace their own identity rather than adhering to social norms.
Memorials are suggested to: buy the homeless a beer & a sandwich; contribute to a friend’s delinquency; smoke a doobie and enjoy the sunset; or if you absolutely must, go plant a tree in her honor. A Memorial Gathering will be held on March 22, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 04:00 PM at The Possum Saloon 23903 State Line Rd
