Deborah Ann Shinskie, 59, of Lakesite, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026 surrounded by her family.
Deborah was born on August 2, 1966 in Millersburg, Pennsylvania and dedicated her life caring for others in the nursing profession, homeschooling her children and was a strong advocate for those without a voice.
She was known for love for Christ, her faith, family and her husband, Donald. Deborah and Donald married on May 2, 1987 and lived a beautiful marriage full of adventure. She lived every day with a love for life and the outdoors. She loved her husband and best friend, Donald Shinskie and their four children, Christianne, Katelyn, Jonathan and Andrew and all of her grandchildren. Her joys were visiting her children and grandchildren and making unforgettable memories through travels and laughter.
Deborah is survived by her husband, Donald, her daughter, Christianne and her husband Thomas and their children Anna, Eli and Noah; daughter Katelyn and her children Kelsey, Chase and Kaia; son Jonathan and his daughter Marleigh; son Andrew and his wife Gabriela and their son Caleb. Deborah is preceded in death by her parents, Herm (Boom) and Mary Corsnitz; her mother-in-law, Pat Shinskie; her son-in-law, Justin Maxwell.
An intimate service will be held. In lieu of flowers, Deborah’s wish is for everyone to pick flowers and walk and hold hands with the ones you love.
