Debra Clark Gulledge

Debra Clark Gulledge, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026, at the age of 71, following a long battle with dementia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Richard Clark and Reba Jo Mays Clark; her sister, Caron Jan Clark; and her husband, Rodney Gulledge.

Born on August 19, 1954, Debra was affectionately known as Debbie to her family and friends. She was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend whose gracious spirit and gentle heart left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Throughout her life in the Birmingham area, she cultivated deep and meaningful relationships and created many treasured memories with those she loved.

She is survived by her brother, Richard Stanley Clark; her sons, Richard Craig Rosetta and Joe Keith Rosetta (Stephanie); and her grandchildren, Devon Hawthorne and Joseph Rosetta.

Debbie will be remembered for her kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering care for others. She devoted her professional life to the field of nursing, serving faithfully in hospitals, home health, and nursing home settings. Her compassion and dedication were evident in both her work and in the way she lived her life.

The family extends their sincere gratitude to the staff of South Haven Health and Rehabilitation for the loving care, kindness, and support they provided to Debbie over the years.

In accordance with her wishes, Debbie generously donated her body to the UAB Anatomical Donor Program for the advancement of medical education. No funeral or memorial service will be held.

Her memory will be treasured always by those who knew and loved her.
