Debra Lorenzo, 74, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026, at Jersey City Medical Center, surrounded by her loving children.
Born on January 18, 1952, Debra was a lifelong resident of Bayonne. She attended Our Lady of Assumption School and Bayonne High School. Throughout her career, she worked as a dental assistant and later managed a dry cleaner and laundromat, demonstrating dedication and care in every role.
Debra was a woman of quiet strength and deep creativity. She found joy in drawing, painting, and writing, expressing herself through art with grace and imagination. She was private yet generous, kind-hearted, creative, loving, and always ready to help others. Those who knew her remember her as beautiful in spirit and steadfast in her love for family.
She is lovingly remembered by her son Justin Dominguez; daughters Jane Dominguez and Roxanne Rizzo; daughter-in-law Vanessa Dominguez; and grandchildren Isaac and Noah Dominguez. She also leaves behind her sisters Beverly Mastroberte and Joette Lorenzo, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
Debra was predeceased by her sister Patricia L. Paterson and her parents Joseph and Theresa Lorenzo.
Her love, creativity, and quiet strength will be deeply missed. Those who knew her will carry forward the warmth, care, and joy she shared, keeping her memory alive in their hearts every day.
