Dennis A Harlow

Dennis Harlow passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on July 15, 1951, in Dayton, Ohio, to Henry and Doris Harlow, Dennis grew up in Kettering, Ohio and attended Ohio University in Athens. He dedicated much of his professional life to managing the family company, Home Run, Inc., in Xenia. Dennis and his wife, Kimberly, raised their family in Jamestown before relocating to Beavercreek, Ohio, in 2006 and currently made their home in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kimberly (Carter) Harlow; his daughter, Courtney Vestal, and son-in-law, James Vestal; and his cherished grandchildren: Keegan Harlow, Kenna Harlow, Emma Vestal, Avery Vestal, and Mason Vestal. He is also survived by his brother, Gary (Debbie) Harlow and family; his sister, Carol (Tom) Baker and family; his brother-in-law, Eric (Shannon) Carter and family; and his sisters-in-law, Kay Carter and Diane Sorrell, along with their respective families.

He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Chad Harlow, and Chad's wife, Tara Harlow; his parents, Henry and Doris Harlow; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Martin and Blonda Carter; and his brother-in-law, Lane Sorrell.

Dennis was a giving soul, he donated his time to coaching tee ball, baseball, and both boys' and girls' soccer. He raised money for Special Operations Warrior Foundation, he was a Free Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite, and a member of the Order of Symposiarch -Xenia Ohio.

Dennis was a fighter and he battled terminal cancer for eight years with unwavering strength, dignity and grace. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association or donate to OneBlood in his memory.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 23rd from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 2446 Trebein Rd., Xenia, OH 45385 (Lifeway Church), Masonic and Scottish Rite ring ceremony and Funeral Service to follow.
