Dennis Kub

Dennis George Kub, age 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 14, 2025, in Peoria, Arizona.

Born on September 7, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois, Dennis was the son of Edward and Lillian Kub. He attended St. John's Catholic School and CVS Vocational High School before continuing his education at DeVry University in Chicago.

Dennis dedicated 34 years of his career to AT&T as a Manager at the 10 South Canal location in Chicago, retiring in 1999. Following his retirement, he worked for three years as a consultant with Kajima Construction.

In 1970, Dennis married Shirley Maksyn of Cicero, Illinois. Together they shared 54 years of marriage. In 2012, they relocated to Arizona. Dennis enjoyed a variety of hobbies including fishing, metal artwork, gardening, and working on projects in his garage.

He is survived by his wife Shirley; his children Daniel and Lisa, David (Dawn), and Shelly Gordon (Ken); five grandchildren; and his brother Robert Kub.

A Celebration of Life Mass was held at St. Clement's Catholic Church in Sun City, Arizona.
