Dennis Patrick Rohanna, of Milford, Massachusetts, passed away surrounded by loved ones on January 8, 2026, at Milford Medical Center, after a battle with cancer—a journey he faced bravely, with hope and grace.

Dennis was born on February 24, 1970, in Boston, Massachusetts, to John Rohanna (predeceased) and Margaret Rohanna. He grew up in Newton, where he formed the friendships, humor, and love of life that stayed with him always.

Dennis was full of life and laughter. An avid athlete, he loved every form of competition—from football and basketball to golf and snowboarding, to cornhole and wiffle ball. He will be remembered for his unique laugh, his quiet but mischievous approach to life, and his talent for putting off until tomorrow what could wait—especially if today offered time with family or a chance for fun. "Where'd Denny go?" was a question often heard, usually because he had slipped away to find joy somewhere nearby. Dennis was also a comeback story, making mistakes, facing challenges, and owning them along the way. Dennis was grateful for every moment he was given with his family. Whatever he was doing, his thoughts were always anchored by his deep love for his children.

Dennis was often found on the water, on Winnipesaukee wakeboarding, at Hampton Beach with his diving goggles, or on the Cape body-surfing. He was a true New England guy and loved the Pats, Celtics, Sox, and all that made this region unique. An unapologetic sucker for cheesy '80s and '90s hits, Dennis was a champion of the movies and shows he loved, eagerly pulling anyone within reach to share the experience. Friends loved their time with "Denny," even when he was hard to pin down. For all those who loved him, returning to these places, songs, and experiences will be a way to stay connected to Dennis.

Dennis leaves behind his beloved partner, Tiffany King, and her son Logan; his children—Ella, Rheya, and Desmond—all of whom he loved dearly. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Rohanna, who stood by him until the very end. He is also survived by his sister Shauna, her husband Jeff, and his sons Gabe and Zach; his sister Tara Fitzgerald, her husband Scott, and their children Alexandra, Christopher, and Samantha; his brother Tommy and his daughter Jacqueline and her husband Matt; and his brother Johnny, his wife Haydee, and their children Gus and Bridget. He also leaves behind an extended family of cousins too numerous to name, each of whom loved him wholly and brought him great joy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Brasco & Sons Funeral Home, 773 Moody Street, Waltham, Massachusetts, on Tuesday, January 13, with viewings from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm. A funeral Mass will be held at the Chapel at Brasco & Sons on Wednesday, January 14, 2025, at 11:00 am, followed by a burial and reception. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Dennis to support cancer research and patient care via dana-farber.org/gift.
