Diana McGuire, 67
Diana McGuire, age 67, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 16, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family. She was the beloved wife of Jerry McGuire for 52 years and a devoted mother to her two loving daughters, Heather Hudson (Don Leath) and Megan Dennis (Dreak Dennis). Diana's greatest joy in life was her family, and she took immense pride in being a grandmother to Ross Hudson (Hannah), Caroline Hudson, Sationna Lyons, and a great-grandmother to her precious great-granddaughter, Kilahni.
She was proceeded in death by her parents James E. Watson, Sr. and Joann Elizabeth Watson. She was a devoted sister to her surviving brothers James Watson, Jr. (Cindy) of Pace, FL and Joseph Watson (Lisa) of Pensacola, FL.
Diana will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for those around her. She was a steady presence in the lives of her family, offering guidance, compassion, and encouragement through every season of life. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her favorite verse was Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength."
A celebration of Diana's life will be held on February 28, 2026, at Woodbine Methodist Church, Pace, FL. Visitation will be at 10:30 am, with the Celebration of Life service at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that her memory be honored through acts of kindness and love shared with others reflecting the way Diana lived her life, or those who choose can send donations to Emerald Coast Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
