Diana Smith

Diana Smith of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on March 1st, 2026. Her sudden loss was unexpected, and her family is profoundly saddened. Diana was only 50 years old.

Diana, the youngest of three children, was born on July 2, 1975, at Glendale Memorial Hospital. She grew up in Orange County, where she made many lifelong friends.

She graduated from Laguna Hills High School, where she played softball and was a member of the track team. She attended DeVry University, graduating with a Computer Science degree. She worked as a software engineer and project manager as a consultant.

Those close to Diana describe her as selfless - she always putting other people before herself. They would also describe her as incredibly funny, that she would know how to cheer you up and make you smile.

Diana was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and will be deeply missed.

Diana is survived by her husband John, daughter Allison, her brother Thomas and sister Lani Mallek-Passey as well as extended family members. Diana was preceded in death by her mother Virginia.
