Diane Marie Siemens, 69, passed away on December 2, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky. Born on November 28, 1956, in the same city she called home throughout her life, Diane left a lasting legacy through her dedication to family, her profession, and the many lives she touched.
A proud graduate of Angela Merici High School in 1974, Diane pursued her passion for healthcare by earning a pharmacy degree from the University of Kentucky. She later completed her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) at the University of Kentucky. Her academic achievements laid the foundation for a remarkable career that spanned over four decades.
Diane served as a pharmacist with Norton Healthcare for more than 40 years and rose to the position of Director of Pharmacy for Norton Medical Group. She was widely respected for her deep knowledge and unwavering commitment to excellence. Among her many professional accomplishments, Diane was especially proud of her instrumental role in managing the logistics of the Norton COVID-19 vaccine program. Her leadership in ordering, distributing, and defining refrigeration requirements ensured the successful rollout of this critical initiative.
Beyond her professional life, Diane was deeply loved by her family and known for her generosity. She shared a special bond with her brother Paul, with whom she traveled extensively. Their adventures were often accompanied by Diane’s beloved dog Lilly, who brought joy and companionship along every journey. Paul’s loving care for both Diane and Lilly was a source of great comfort and is deeply appreciated by all who knew them.
Diane is lovingly remembered by her brothers Jimmy Siemens and Paul Siemens; sister Nancy Toomey (partner James Chestnut); sister-in-law Rosemarie Siemens; nieces and nephews Jason Siemens (Brandy), Ryan Siemens (Emily), Justin Siemens (Jenna), Kyle Toomey (Lauren), Lauren Benton (Danial); and many loving great-nieces and nephews.
