Dianna (Harvey) Carrier of Indianapolis was 65 years of age at the time of her passing, on November 15, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones. Dianna battled Small Cell Lung Cancer for a year before passing.
Dianna graduated from Brownsburg High School in 1978. She met her husband, Tom, when applying for a cashier job at Safeway. They told her to watch out for the Deli Manager. She did just that. She made him take her out for a steak dinner for her birthday (their first date- 1979). They got married months later on Valentine's Day, 1980.
Dianna was beloved by many. She loved gardening and worked in a greenhouse for many years. She loved sports. She was always excited for an Indiana Pacers game, Indiana Fever game, and especially loved to watch the Indianapolis Colts play! (Even in her last few months, she didn't want to watch tv, BUT if the Colts were playing— she would get mad and tell us to move out of the way.) Dianna also spent a few years working at the Fieldhouse as an usher. She never met a stranger. She BLED Dr. Pepper. That was her one vice and saving grace through her battle, next to her loving grandbabies.
Dianna is preceded in death by her father Harry Harvey. She is survived by her mother Demetrica Harvey. She leaves behind her husband of 45 years: Tom Carrier, favorite son Andrew (Alexis) Carrier and favorite daughter Alisa (Jarrod) Dunson. She also left behind her five most favorite people in the world, her grandchildren: Abraham, Eleanor, Aria, Theodore, Anya. She left behind her siblings John (Jackie), Jerry (Debbie 2), Debby, Sylvia, and Teresa along with a plethora of nieces and nephews.
Dianna was so giving even in death. She donated her body to science in hopes to help save other people's lives in the future. Please send any donations to LUNGEVITY.
