Dixie Dall

Dixie Tisserand Dall passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026, at the age of 77 in Austin, TX. She was born on December 13, 1948 to parents, Alvin and Eula Tisserand in Yerington, Nevada. Dixie was a beacon of warmth and vivacity. She was unforgettable and had a way of making those around her smile.

In 1978 Dixie became a mother to her only son, Erik. He was the light of her life. She was present for every moment that mattered, offering love and unwavering support. Being his mother brought her immense pride and joy.

Dixie graduated from Anderson High School and furthered her education at Chico State University in Chico, California. Her professional life was largely spent at Chico State University's Admissions and Records Department, where she worked until her retirement in 2010. Throughout her career, Dixie was known for her dedication to helping countless students navigate their educational journeys.

Beyond her professional life, Dixie had a passion for gardening, reading, and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She lived life fully and left lasting impressions on everyone who knew her. Dixie was a cherished mother, sister, and friend.

Dixie is survived by her son, Erik Dall and his wife, Keely Dall of Austin, Texas; her brother, Paul Tisserand of Redding, California; her grandson, Colin Dall of Austin, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eula and Alvin Tisserand.

A celebration of Dixie's life will be held on May 16, 2026 in Chico, California. Her strength and enduring spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
