Dolores "Dee" A. Henderson

Dolores "Dee" A. Henderson, lovingly known as Dee, passed away on March 20, 2026. She was born on July 10, 1934, in Flint, Michigan, and in 1960 made California her home, where she built a full and meaningful life centered around family, friendship, and community.

Dee had a strong work ethic and a vibrant spirit. She dedicated 28 years to TRW, followed by 6 years with Geodynamics, and later spent 17 years with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Wherever she worked, she was known for her warmth, reliability, and the genuine connections she formed with those around her.

A devoted member of P.E.O. since 1958, Dee was active in all aspects of the Sisterhood. She was especially proud to have helped organize the SV Chapter in Torrance, California, in 1970, and remained an engaged and valued member throughout her life.

Dee embraced life with energy and joy. She loved biking, skiing, gardening, and spending time creating handmade stamped cards with friends. Dancing was one of her greatest passions — whether line dancing, clogging, round dancing, or swing — she was always happiest when moving to music.

Above all, Dee cherished her family. She is survived by her son Rick (Katie), daughter Deena (Steve), grandson Chris Henderson, granddaughters Jaime Bergin, Emily Harrison, and Hannah Binkley, as well as five great-grandchildren. Her love for her family was constant, and her presence will be deeply missed.

Dee will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, her joyful spirit, and the love she shared so freely with everyone in her life.

We welcome family and friends to gather with us in honoring and celebrating Dee on Saturday, April 25th at 11:00 am at the Chart House, 231 Yacht Club Way, Redondo Beach, CA where food will be served.
