Don Nepinsky, a loving husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026, at the age of 76.
Born on November 21, 1949, in Montebello, California, Don was the son of Charles Nepinsky and Emily Fuertes. He was raised in Alhambra, California.
After graduating from high school, Don attended Palomar College in Escondido, California, before transferring to Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. It was during his time at NAU that Don met the love of his life, Candace Nepinsky. They were married soon after and shared more than 54 years together.
Don cherished time spent with family and friends, especially trips to the mountains, days on his boat, and family RV adventures to the beach. He will be remembered as a fun-loving man who always made sure everyone had a good time, and as someone you could always count on—especially when you needed help.
Don Nepinsky was preceded in death by his parents, Emily Fuertes and Charles Nepinsky, and by his son, Brian Nepinsky.
He is survived by his son, David Nepinsky; his sister, Mary Ann Nepinsky; and his grandchildren, David Nepinsky, Landon Nepinsky, Karis Nepinsky, and Kyndell Nepinsky.
A private service will be held at later date. Don will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of those who loved him.
