Born on November 20, 1942, in Hamlin, West Virginia, Don Rheta was the daughter of Walter and Effie Lovejoy. She grew up surrounded by a close-knit family and carried the values of kindness and generosity with her throughout her life.
Don Rheta shared a beautiful life with her devoted husband, David M. Margolis. Together they built a loving family that was always at the center of her heart. She is survived by her spouse David M. Margolis; son and daughter-in-law, John and Heather Margolis; daughter-in-law Lori Combs; grandson David Zachary Margolis; granddaughters Megan Strasser and Mallory Green; grandson-in-law Joseph Hale Strasser; great-granddaughters Maeve Louise Strasser and Indie Hale Strasser; and her brother John Lovejoy.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Walter and Effie Lovejoy; sister LouElla Jackson; and brothers Richard Lovejoy and Walter Jr. Lovejoy.
To those who knew her best, she was simply "Mimi." Her presence radiated warmth—whether through one of her signature hugs or the comforting sound of her lullabies. Mimi's "Meep" sounds brought laughter to generations of grandchildren, while her legendary peanut butter fudge became a cherished family tradition.
