Donald Edward Alger Sr.

On Saturday, February 14th at 10:10 a.m., in Perryville, MD, Donald Edward Alger Sr. of Essex, Maryland, passed away peacefully at the age of 72, surrounded by his children—Joanne Alger, Brandi Ragan, and Donald Alger Jr.—and one of his grandsons, Zachary Donivan-Micheal Neff.

Remembering Don is to remember a man gifted with his hands, able to fix or tinker with anything and bring it back to life. He cherished lifelong friendships that stayed with him through the years. He had a deep love for animals—whether they flew, walked on four legs, or oinked—and they were just as fond of him.

Don will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. As he entered into glory, he was welcomed by his daughter, Angel Alger, and his mother, Jo Ann Alger. He is survived by his grandchildren—Lawrence Andrew Neff III, Zachary Donivan-Micheal Neff, Tyler Dylan Ragan, Drew Alger, Lexi Alger, Abby Davis, Kay Davis, and Mikala Alger—and his great-grandchildren: Connor Neff, Delilah Neff, Alice Neff, Donivan Neff, Damian Neff, Aiden Mintzer, and Freya Ragan.
