Donald Anthony Grafe, age 69, of Southaven, Mississippi, passed away on December 17, 2025. He was born on March 28, 1956, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Grafe of Southaven, MS; his daughters, Barbara Curtis of Pikesville, MD, Tammy Asbell of Hernando, MS, and Teresa Bland of Tunica, MS; his sisters, Elvira Stevens of Holly Springs, MS, and Judy Hughes of Millington, TN; and his brother, Clinton Grafe Jr. of Holly Springs, MS. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven nephews, and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton Joseph Grafe Sr. and Alice Eve Adams Grafe.
Donald attended Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Robinsonville, Mississippi. He was employed by The Commercial Appeal for over 35 years and later worked briefly at Quebecor (Worldcolor) before retiring.
A proud New Orleanian, Donald deeply loved his hometown and was a devoted fan of the New Orleans Saints. He enjoyed music, watching nature, spending time with family, and the excitement and social atmosphere of the casinos. Known for his warm sense of humor, he brought laughter and joy to those around him. Above all, he loved God and cherished the moments shared with those closest to him.
Donald Anthony Grafe will be remembered for his faith and love of life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
