Donald La Barr jr.

Donald La Barr jr. 75 of Castle Creek went to be with the lord on February 13, 2026 Donald was predeceased by his mother, Anna Portorsnok La Barr father, Donald La Barr Sr; Brothers; George LaBarr, Ronald La Barr and beloved son George La Barr.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Diane La Barr sons; Donald La Barr, Kevin La Barr, Brother; Daniel La Barr, Sisters; Donna La Barr, Margaret La Barr, Helen (Ahmed) Elkhamis Nieces; Natalie Chapman, Jessica Everett, Nephew; William Jones and several cousins.

Donald enjoyed going to the adirondacts - fishing, hunting and kayaking. Was an avid reader, and a great conversationalist. He loved singing with family and friends and took his chihuahua, onyx, with him everywhere. A fun highlight was when he entered a song - writing contest and won ; the Beach Boys selected his song and he got to meet them.

The family is so grateful you were our brother and we will miss you dearly.

A memorial service will be held 1pm to 2 pm Monday March 16 at the Conklin Av. First Babtist Church 91 Baldwin st. A luncheon will follow 3:00 pm at American Legion post 1645 177 Robinson st. Burial will be at Spring Forest Cemetery at a later date.
