Donna Wilson Bernstrom

Donna Wilson Bernstrom, a cherished soul whose life journey began on December 28, 1960 in Andalusia, Alabama, concluded her earthly chapter on March 18, 2026, in Becker, Minnesota. Donna's gentle and loving spirit was a guiding light to all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, David Bernstrom; her children, Wil, Patrick, and Payton; her grandchild, Palmer; her mother, Sue; and her siblings, Pat, Sam, and Ann.

Donna's passion for helping others was evident through her extensive career as a registered nurse. After studying nursing at Troy State University, she dedicated over 40 years to the profession, working in various capacities including administration and school nursing, but she found her true calling in surgical nursing. Her compassionate care and unwavering dedication to her patients were hallmarks of her career.

A devoted member of the Community of Christ, church is where Donna found strength and fellowship. Her faith was a constant source of comfort and inspiration throughout her life, and she lived her beliefs through her actions and kindness towards others.

Music brought great joy to Donna, and she held a special place in her heart for bluegrass, Patsy Cline, and Linda Ronstadt. She loved to host gatherings, uniting loved ones around the dinner table. Her banana pudding was legendary, a sweet testament to her talent in the kitchen and her ability to create warmth and joy through her cooking.

Donna's legacy is one of love, service, and grace. She shared this love with friends and family, creating cherished memories for her loved ones. Her life was a tapestry woven with the threads of compassion, wit, and a gentle demeanor that touched the hearts of everyone she met. As we bid farewell to Donna, we celebrate the profound impact she made on the world and the countless lives she enriched with her generous spirit. She will be deeply missed, eternally loved, and forever remembered.
