Donna Lynn Kelsey

Donna Lynn Kelsey, lovingly known to all as "Lindy," passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on January 1, 1960, in Louisville, Kentucky, Lindy brought joy, laughter, and warmth to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Lindy shared 22 years of marriage with her devoted husband, Don Kelsey. Together they built a life centered on their shared love of people, music, and—above all—animals. Lindy had three great loves in her life: her husband Don, her son Joseph—whom she absolutely adored and proudly called her greatest accomplishment—and any pet lucky enough to curl up on her lap. Animals were drawn to her gentle spirit, and she cherished every one of them.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hallie and Douglas Waldridge, and by her brothers, Steve Waldridge (Denise) and Anthony Waldridge (Mary).

She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Kelsey; her beloved son, Joseph Hayes; stepsons Brian Kelsey and Scott Kelsey (Sammie) and three Grandchildren, siblings Sharon George (Ed), Alan Waldridge (Betty), Carla Lindsay (Robert), Regina Waldridge, and Holly Wood (Jae).

A memorial gathering will be held Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the Windsor Gate Clubhouse, 8601 Ambrosse Lane, Louisville, KY 40299, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes meal gift cards for the coming weeks or contributions via Venmo at @Cynthia-Kelsey-3.
