Donna Myrick, 76, passed away peacefully in Maryland on January 4, 2026. Born November 11, 1949. She was a quiet spirit who found her greatest happiness in nature, animals, and simple moments of solitude. She loved walking outdoors, tending to her plants, and watching the wildlife around her — especially the foxes, squirrels, and birds she cared for with such tenderness.
Donna was an avid reader and found special joy in the Harry Potter series, which she revisited often. She also cherished her collection of ceramic gnomes, keepsakes, and treasures that brought warmth and character to her home and smiles to her loved ones whenever they visited.
Donna is survived by her son Andy Black (Heather Black), grandchildren Kayla, Tristan, and Zach Black, sister Norma Myrick, and step-father Mark Zoerhide. She was preceeded in death by her loving husband Robert "BJ" Kussick.
Donna will be remembered for her quiet kindness, her love of the natural world, and the gentle, steady presence she brought to those who knew and loved her. Services will be private.
