Donna Lee (Zwiebel) Long, 68, of Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on April 7, 2026. Born on October 27, 1957, in Kingston, Pennsylvania, Donna was the daughter of the late William and Edith Bonning.
A graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School's Class of 1975, Donna pursued her passion for beauty and style at Empire Beauty School and continued her education throughout her career. She was the proud owner of Donna Zwiebel's Hair Salon, which she operated with dedication and love for 34 years. Her salon became a cherished space where clients not only received exceptional care but also left with smiles inspired by Donna's vibrant personality.
Donna's zest for life was evident in everything she did. She had a natural talent for nurturing plants and took great pride in her green thumb. Her love for live music and dancing brought joy to those around her, as did her infectious laughter and fun-loving spirit. Known for her impeccable fashion sense, Donna's passion for animal prints reflected her bold and vivacious personality. She truly embodied beauty both inside and out.
Donna is survived by her devoted husband, Ron Long; stepchildren Michael Long and Christine Beishline; daughter Kayla Rinehart; sister Sheryn Hardiman; nieces Lisa Davis and Courtney Hardiman; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her memory. She was predeceased by her parents; son Johnathon Zwiebel; parents-in-law Harry and Charlotte Long; brother-in-law Dick Hardiman; and nephew Jason Hardiman.
Donna's legacy is one of love, laughter, and a life lived to its fullest. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later time, at the convenience of the family.
