It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Dorothy Hall, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025. Born Dorothy Flammini on February 2, 1940, to parents John and Frances Flammini, Dorothy lived an extraordinary life filled with love, kindness, and generosity. She was a lifelong resident of Plainfield, Illinois.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Edward Hall, her mother, Frances Flammini, her father, John Flammini, and her beloved son, Stephen Hall. She leaves behind a family who cherished her deeply, including her sons, Edward and Michael Hall; daughters-in-law, Kim and Lauree Hall; her loving grandson, Nicholas Hall (Michelle), devoted granddaughters, Teressa Sworsky (Jim), Jenna Hall, and Kaitlin Gruenke (Josh) and great granddaughters, Sophia and Isabella Sworsky and Summer Hall.
Dorothy was best known for her warm, friendly, and outgoing nature, which was complemented by her generous heart and loving spirit. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her loved ones will forever remember her for her loving nature and the times shared over family dinners, holiday celebrations, and moments of laughter and joy.
When she wasn't surrounded by her family, Dorothy enjoyed traveling and spending quality time with her friends. Her stories of adventures and the friendships she forged over the years were an inspiration to all who knew her.
Her legacy of kindness and generosity will live on in the hearts and memories of all those who had the pleasure to know and love her. Dorothy Hall will be greatly missed by her family and friends. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate her life and the beautiful person that she was.
