Dorothy "Dottie" Ann Majers
June 18, 1942 - October 9, 2025

Dorothy "Dottie" Ann Majers, 83, passed away peacefully at her home in Provo, Utah, on October 9, 2025.

Dottie was born on June 18, 1942, in Del Norte, Colorado, to Mildred and Rudolph Dominguez. She was the sixth of twelve children and grew up surrounded by a large, loving family. Dottie graduated from St. Francis School in Provo, Utah.

She married Gene Majers, and together they raised two children. Dottie and Gene built a successful business, Major Paint & Sandblasting, which they operated for more than 20 years.

Strong-minded and determined, Dottie was a smart and capable businesswoman who was deeply devoted to her family. She was known for her beauty, independence, and fierce love for her children.

Dottie also had a lifelong love of animals. Over the years, she raised cattle and chickens and was known for her compassion toward all creatures—often keeping raccoons, skunks, and ferrets as pets.

She is survived by her daughter Tracy (Mark) Carter, grandchildren Logan Carter and Taylor Carter, and great-granddaughter Kollyns Carter.

She was preceded in death by her son Flint Majers, her parents Mildred and Rudolph Dominguez, five brothers, and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Berg Mortuary 185 East Center Street, Provo, Utah. Interment will follow at EastLawn Memorial Hills Cemetery 4800 Timpview Drive in Provo.

Dottie will be remembered for her strength, her heart, and her love of family, animals, and the simple joys of life. A Service will be held on October 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Berg Mortuary 185 East Center Street
