Douglas P. Weaver Sr., of Washington, Maine, passed away on January 1, 2026, at the age of 56. Born on April 30, 1969, in Brunswick, Maine, Douglas spent his life rooted in the state he called home.
Douglas was married to Heathre L. Weaver for 19 years, a partnership marked by enduring commitment and shared life experiences. Together they raised a family that brought him great pride and joy. He is remembered with love by his children: Douglas Weaver Jr., James Weaver, Levi Swan, and Hailey Swan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm Weaver Sr. and Virginia Weaver, as well as his brother, Malcolm Weaver Jr.
Douglas's life was shaped by the bonds of family and the strength and love from those he called family. Douglas had a special place in his heart for each of his grandkids, as he really enjoyed being the best Papa he could.
Douglas enjoyed many outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and in his early days bird/rabbit dog hunting and car racing. He was also a avid blood worm harvester for 28 years often working both tides, day in and day out.
To honor Douglas's wishes, there will be no service. We invite you to please privately celebrate Douglas's memory in your own ways. Know he will be with us all in spirit.
