Paul Dolinko, October 23, 1929 - November 23, 2025, aged 96.
Paul was a steward of both the earth and of the community. He was active professionally as a community psychologist, spending most of his career at The Institute for Juvenile Research. He worked primarily in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, gathering many awards for his meaningful involvement in the community from the State of Illinois, the Near West Side Council, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago, and from the Institute for Juvenile Research. He was also a lifelong advocate for the environment, and for many years was committed to the restoration of native habitat in the Cook County Forest Preserves. He was a valued member of the North Branch Restoration Project, from whom he was also given several awards for his work in habitat restoration. These were among his most cherished. Paul was the beloved husband of the late Bella (Rubinson) Dolinko. Loving father of Ann Dolinko (Joel Weiner), Loving grandfather of Alexa Dolinko (Eddie Stone). May his memory be for a blessing.
