Dulcie Bea Hutchison, born April 5, 1938, in Pocatello, Idaho, passed away peacefully at her home in Gilbert, Arizona, on January 16, 2026, at the age of 87 due to natural causes. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Dulcie's life was marked by grace, creativity, and service.

She was the daughter of George Ellery Huth and Ruth Lavaun Huth. Her early years were shaped by her family's moves between Pocatello and Salt Lake City as her father pursued his career in restaurant management. From 1939 to 1946, the family lived in Salt Lake City where George managed Fred and Kelly’s restaurant before returning to Pocatello, where he continued managing the same establishment for another three decades.

Dulcie distinguished herself during her high school years in Pocatello through academic excellence and artistic pursuits. She was a member of the glee club and drill team and studied ballet privately at Kasai’s Dance Studio—an early sign of the artistic passion that would remain central throughout her life.

On August 1, 1957, she married Blaine Edwin Huff. During their marriage, they lived in Provo, Utah; Boise, Idaho; and Phoenix, Arizona. While raising their children, Dulcie taught ballet both from her home and in dance schools across Idaho and Arizona. She also worked for Southern Arizona Bank and Trust Company but prioritized being present at home with her children whenever possible. The couple divorced on November 20, 1984.

On January 11, 1986, Dulcie married Andrew Muir Hutchison. Together they moved to Snowflake, Arizona, where Dulcie worked as a human resources clerk for the Snowflake School District. Their time in Snowflake was marked by both joy and sorrow; it was there that her youngest son, R. Sean Huff, tragically passed away on July 10, 1988. He is buried in the Snowflake Cemetery—also chosen as Dulcie’s final resting place.

Later in life, Dulcie and Andy moved to Falcon, Missouri to run Sassy Farms near Andy’s parents, Carl and Bessie Hutchison. There she worked at Heritage Bank of the Ozarks until retirement. In 2016 she returned to Arizona; Andy joined her a year later after selling the ranch.

Dulcie's life was deeply enriched by her love for the arts. A gifted dancer, singer, and painter, she shared her talents generously in community and church productions. She performed with the Deseret Choir and served faithfully as a temple recorder. Her home was filled with her artwork—a testament to a lifetime spent creating beauty.

Her greatest joy came from her family. She cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren and found fulfillment in nurturing those relationships throughout her life.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband Andrew Muir Hutchison; sons R. Kip Huff of Huntington Beach, California; B. Kevin Huff; R. Chris Huff of Gilbert, Arizona; daughter Debra Huff-Thomas of Newark, New Jersey; Ron Hutchison of Columbia, Maryland; Shane Hutchison of Jersey City, New Jersey; and Troy Hutchison of White City, Oregon. She leaves behind 22 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother George P. Huth; son R. Sean Huff; and grandson Braxton M. Huff.

Funeral services will be held on January 23, 2026 at 12:00 noon at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 1010 S. Recker Rd., Gilbert, AZ 85296. Bishop Robby Hale will preside over the service. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m. that same day in the Relief Society room at the church. Burial will follow at the Town of Snowflake Cemetery.
