Obituary for Dung Chi Nguyen
November 4, 1951 - October 17, 2025

It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of Dung Nguyen, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025 at the age of 73.

Born in My Tho, Vietnam, he lived a life marked by strength, humility, and deep dedication to family. After immigrating to the United States, (Tampa, FL), he worked tirelessly to build a better future for those he loved, while never losing touch with the traditions, culture, and spirit of his Vietnamese heritage.

He will be remembered for his kindness, wisdom, and quiet generosity — qualities that touched everyone, fortunate enough to know him. Whether through a warm smile or a shared meal, he had a way of making others feel valued and loved.

Dung is survived by his beloved wife Ton Thi Chau, five children, eight grandchildren, and other family members. His legacy of love and strength will live on through them, and through all whose lives he touched.

A funeral service to honor his life will be held Wednesday October 22, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home (11005 N. US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592), with visitation beginning at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate a life well lived.

He will be deeply missed, but his love and example will remain with us always. A Visitation will be held on October 22, 2025, from 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home 11005 N. US Highway 301
