Dustin Edward Stalewski

Dustin Edward Stalewski, 46, of Brownsville Texas, passed away peacefully on December 7th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of
kindness, lifelong friendships and
unforgettable memories.

Dustin was born on February 11th, 1979 to Jane Pickett and Donn Stalewski in Lawton,Oklahoma. After graduating from Lake Highlands High School in Dallas Texas, Class of 1997,
he went on to study Art and earn his certifications in environmental studies and deep sea diving. Dustin had a passion for art since an early age and continued his studies with professional artists. He always gave and gifted his art pieces to friends that saw how talented he is. In addition to many interests that Dustin loved, music was a passion to him. He loved playing the guitar and going to concert's.

Despite his health struggles for the past two and a half years Dustin continued to work as a LEAD PROPULSION TECHNICIAN (RAPTOR FLIGHT) Team Lead at SpaceX / Starbase. He had a deep passion for being at Starbase for years knowing that one day the launches would be going to Mars. He made such an impact on the successes over the years.

He made so many close friends over the years living in Dallas, Houston and Brownsville. He was able to visit and see so many of them before he passed. The smile on his face was priceless to see when someone showed up at the hospital or at the house.

Dustin is survived by his (Mother) Jane Pickett, (Father) Donn Stalewski ( Diane Stalewski), (Sisters) Lindsay
Stalewski (Keith Perry), and Dana Stalewski (Wade Howard). He had a large family full of love and support. Special Thanks to all his close Friends that are family too.

Dustin had a passion for the beach and a Celebration of Life for him is planned for February 7th, 2026 in South Padre, TX. Location and details will be shared
