Sadly, Dwayne passed away at his home in Las Vegas.
Born in the city of New Orleans, he loved his family and friends deeply and frequently expressed his gratitude to those in his life. Friends near to him
knew him as the friendly guy sitting on his patio. He would never let someone walk by without saying his famous line (HOW YOU DOING).
He was loved by many and will always be remembered as someone never saying no to help others. From his southern roots a love of seafood, red beans, gumbo, and he never met a raw oyster he didn't like. Dwayne was a man of diverse talents and adventurous spirts. He lived his life with the same hot and spicy flavor as most southern dishes. From riding his motorcycle in the hills of California, boating in South Carolina, enjoying music and watching ocean views.
Dwayne is survived by his daughter Jessie, son Dwayne Jr and grandson James. Also his sisters Cathy Hunt (Jimmy), Cheryl Johnson (Richard) and his sweetheart Lisa Murray. Preceded in death by his parents Gene and MaryLou and brother Timothy Foss (Marlene).
Dwayne's greatest pride was his work as an Ironworker and retired member of the New York City Ironworkers Union. He will be missed and loved. For those who knew him shall remember him as a light in a dark day. Dwayne, your light has faded but never gone. May God welcome you to heaven and have your place with family. We love you!!
