Eddie B. Cobb Jr.

Eddie "King Cobb" Jr. passed away on January 31, 2026. He will be remembered as a loving son, devoted father, caring brother, and loyal friend whose strength, humor, and kindness touched many lives. Eddie leaves behind a legacy filled with resilience, warmth, and cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
He is remembered by his parents, Eddie B. and Carolyn M. Cobb, whose guidance and unwavering love helped shape the man he became. He also leaves behind his beloved fiancée, Tameka, and his four children—two sons and two daughters—who were the pride and joy of his life. Eddie is survived by his siblings: one sister, Valerie (David Robinson) of Merrillville, Indiana, and one brother, Marcus (Stephanie Cobb) of Ardmore, Oklahoma.
His bond with his siblings and family was rooted in love, support, and shared memories that will be forever treasured. Visitation will be held Thursday February 12,2026 1:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Witnessing C.O.G.I.C, 3834 Hemlock Street, East Chicago, Indiana. Funeral services will be held Friday February 13,2026 10:00 a.m. at New Hope Church, 2307 Rhode Island Street, Gary, Indiana. Interment Fern Oak Cemetery Griffith,In.
