In Loving Memory of Edith Mirna Rossi-Boni
February 14, 1924 - December 15, 2025
Edith Mirna Rossi-Boni, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and cherished matriarch of her family, passed away peacefully at the amazing age of 101, on December 15th, 2025, surrounded by love in the presence of her friends and family.
Born on February 14th, 1924, in Staten Island, New York, Edith lived a life defined by devotion to family, bold strength, and enduring kindness. She witnessed more than a century of history and met each chapter with grace, resilience, and an unwavering sense of purpose. Her home was always a place of warmth, good food, and gentle wisdom, where everyone felt welcome.
She is survived by her loving children, Roberta Williams (Louis) and Monalisa Shehee, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and extended family, all of whom carry forward her values of love, patience, and compassion. She was preceded in death by her Son, Robert Rossi, Husbands, Anthony Rossi and Barton Boni, nine siblings and other loved ones she now reunites with in eternal peace.
Her legacy lives on in the stories she told, the lessons she taught, and the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. She always jokingly sang that couches and shoes were her worst enemies! All her beautiful life she struggled finding couches and shoes that provided her the comfort she expected, but now we are sure she's looking down on us from the best couch in Heaven, wearing shoes with the toes cut out!
