Edward Kuehnel

Edward (Ed) Bruce Kuehnel, age 95, died on March 25, 2026 in North Oaks, MN. After serving in the US Navy from 1948 to 1957 he attended North Dakota State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He spent a year with Bell Telephone Laboratories in Burlington, North Carolina. He returned to Minnesota and joined Honeywell where he was an Engineering Supervisor until he retired in 1989. Preceded in death by his parents Reno and Jean, brothers Darell and Reno Jr. He is survived by his wife, Carol, brothers John and Frederick; children Connie Mersereau, Anne Kuehnel, Tim Kuehnel and Meghan Kane; grandchildren Drew and Molly Mersereau, Jarrod Kane, Angela, Rachael, Aaron, Heather, Stephanie, and Stephen Kuehnel; great-grandchildren Roman, Adeline and Roland Mersereau. A private church ceremony will be held, with interment in Red Wing. Memorials to St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in Roseville and the Stageberg Music Scholarship at St. Olaf College.
