Eleanor Grace "Ellie" Baschoff (née LeJeune), age 81, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 17, 2026, in Norristown, Pennsylvania.

Born on February 7, 1944, in Camden, New Jersey, Ellie was the beloved daughter of Eleanor and Ben LeJeune. After graduating from Pennsauken High School, Ellie had her own hairdressing shop and later worked in retail for many years, where she brought joy and kindness to those she served.

Ellie was a woman of deep faith whose spiritual life was central to her being. Her relationship with God guided her through life's joys and sorrows and was a source of strength and inspiration to those around her.

A gifted artist in many forms, Ellie was an accomplished poet who penned thousands of poems over the course of her life. Her words touched hearts and offered comfort and insight to readers far and wide. She published two poetry books that captured her unique voice and perspective. In addition to writing poetry, Ellie found joy in painting—particularly nature scenes—which she created with a unique perspective of the world around her.

Ellie shared 61 loving years of marriage with her devoted husband Vincent. Together they built a family rooted in love, resilience, and creativity. She is survived by Vincent; her sister Yvonne and husband Lee and their family; her brother Marc and his family; her daughter Mary with husband Bob and children Sarah, Molly and husband Tanner, Faith, and Bobby; her son Alex with children Alex Jr. and Roma; daughter Emily husband Andrew and daughter Jocelyn; and son John and his family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Eleanor and Benson LeJeune; daughters Michelle and Beth; and son Andrew.

Kind-hearted, loving, and endlessly creative, Ellie leaves behind a legacy of beauty—in both word and deed—that will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by the family she loved so dearly.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
