Elizabeth Julia Balla

Elizabeth Julia Balla, age 82, of Phoenix, AZ. passed away peacefully on February 27th, 2026.

She was born on September 18th, 1943 in Woodbridge, NJ to John and Helen Balla. She was the apple of her father's eye. She had two sisters, Helen Ann Bodnar Wright and Margaret Bodnar Gorsak. She graduated from Perth Amboy High School in 1962, and married James Andrew Hudanish, her high school sweetheart, the same year. They were blessed with two children, Donna and Diane.

Elizabeth moved west in 1966, seeking new beginnings, the California lifestyle, and warm sunny days. In 1971, she married Edward T. Ginn, and they shared many adventures. She had a career in sales, and retired in the Phoenix area to enjoy the warmth and sunshine. Elizabeth had a green thumb, and loved spending time in her garden nurturing her plants. She was an accomplished artist, painting in acrylics and oils, and enjoyed sewing and crafts. Her family brought her great joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Ann Hudanish (Kalman Lajvort) and Diane Helen Hudanish Betit (Ron Betit), two grandchildren: Brooke Elizabeth Betit DeCubellis (Matt DeCubellis), and Brett Alexander Betit (Brittany Betit) and three great grandchildren: Charlotte, Graham and Elizabeth. She is also survived by nieces and nephews: Wanda Wright, Sandi Henderson, Bruce, Jeffery and Mark Gorsak. She was blessed with AZ "family" friends, Bruce, Sheryl and Tim.

A celebration of life will take place at a future date. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
