Elizabeth Anne Boucher (née Bernard), age 86, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026, at Newton/Wellesley hospital in Newton, Massachusetts.
Born on September 30, 1939, in Minto, New Brunswick, Canada, Anne’s life was marked by quiet joys and a deep devotion to her family. She found happiness in the simple pleasures of life and created a warm and welcoming home for those around her. Throughout their lives, Anne and her loving husband of 67 years, Norman lived in Massachusetts, Arizona, Florida, and New Brunswick Canada.
Anne enjoyed playing cribbage and baking—pastimes that brought people together and filled her home with laughter and the comforting scent of homemade treats. These cherished activities reflected her generous spirit and love for sharing time with others.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Joseph Norman Boucher, and their five children: Michael Boucher, Teresa Boucher, Jo-Anne Wilson, Brenda Santiago, and Brian Boucher, ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and her siblings Bea, Gerald, and Marie.
