Elizabeth Castaneda Saucedo, 48, of El Paso, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025. A native of El Paso, she was born on September 29, 1976, and lived her life with love, energy, and an infectious spirit that touched everyone who knew her.
Elizabeth was a devoted mother to her daughters Phenix, Jaden, and Lauren, and a proud, loving grandmother to Madison, Jacoah, and Ava. She is also survived by her parents, Hector and Carolina, her brother Hector, and her sister Nancy. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmothers, Maria Socorro and Bertha Irene, and her dear aunt, Sara.
A passionate entrepreneur, Elizabeth worked at Keith and Miller court reporters before following her dream and opening her own women's consignment clothing store, The Label Exchange, in 2006. She had a deep love for thrifting and a unique eye for fashion that brought joy and confidence to her customers.
Elizabeth was a breath of fresh air—charismatic, spontaneous, and full of life. She brought light and laughter wherever she went and was always up for an adventure. Above all, she will be remembered as a fiercely loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.
A memorial mass will be held in her honor on October 11th at 1:00 PM at St. Stephen Deacon and Martyr Church, 1700 George Dieter Dr, El Paso, TX 79936.
Elizabeth's beautiful soul will be deeply missed, but her love and vibrant spirit will live on in all who were lucky enough to know her.
