Elizabeth H. Isacson

Elizabeth Hoyns Isacson (Betty), age 96, passed away peacefully at her home in Branford on March 16, 2026. She was born on January 26, 1930, the daughter of Fredrick and Elizabeth Hoyns of Cos Cob, CT. She married Scott Daniel Isacson DC on May 22, 1954 with whom she enjoyed almost 40 years of marriage. They spent many happy seasons at their New Hampshire lake house together. She is survived by her son, Nord Isacson DC (&Tina) and her daughter Darla Isacson Bond of Reedsville, PA, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Some joys in her life were AMC whitewater canoeing where she met Scott, also skiing, cake decorating, cooking, and gardening. She was a Girl Scout leader and Branford Garden Club member for many years. She was a member of Community Baptist Church of Branford, where a memorial service will be held on Saturday April 4, 2026. A reception will follow the service in the church hall.
