Jones, Elizabeth, nee Sherman
Passed away peacefully at the home of her son Russell Jones, on November 18. Longtime resident of NE Minneapolis where she grew up, had a rewarding career as a Social Worker for Hennepin County, and was active at the former Trinity United Methodist Church where she sang solos in the church choir. After retiring from Social Work she moved into a town home in North Oaks, and lived there until dementia required her to move in with her son. Preceded in death by parents, D.B. Sherman and Garnet Hustleby, brother Will D. Sherman, and husband William R. Jones. Survived by her son, Russell, daughter-in-law Anita, and grandsons, Brandon and Zachary. A private burial service will be held at St. Croix Falls, WI cemetery on Tuesday, November 25th.
