Elizabeth G. Kimball ("Beth") passed away peacefully on the morning of March 4, 2026, at her home in Roseville, CA, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. Beth’s final moments were spent in the company of those she cherished most, reflecting the deep connections she built throughout her life. Beth is survived by her three beloved children, Nick, Kate, and Andrew; her devoted mother, Jean; and her caring brother, Jim.
Family was always at the heart of Beth's world, and she leaves behind countless treasured memories. She was incredibly proud of her children and found joy in sharing their achievements and passions, whether it was celebrating Nick earning an early promotion at work, watching Kate sing in the church band, or cheering Andrew on as he lit up the soccer field. Beth was also thrilled to welcome Nick’s fiancé, Makayla, into the family, embracing her with warmth and excitement.
Beth cherished every moment spent with her kids, making time for favorite activities like hiking in Lake Tahoe and Yosemite, embarking on spontaneous road trips, and enjoying lively family dinners at home. She loved exploring the outdoors with them, passing on her appreciation for nature and adventure. Beth also delighted in attending their sporting events, supporting their hobbies, and encouraging their dreams—her presence at their milestones was a source of strength and comfort.
A true lover of the outdoors, Beth found joy in the natural beauty of Lake Tahoe and Yosemite, places she often explored and held close to her heart. She was a proud graduate of Chico State, where she forged lifelong friendships and created memories that shaped her journey. Beth also shared a passion for sports, delighting in watching the 49ers, Giants, and Warriors games alongside her mother.
Beth’s athleticism shone early in her life, particularly during her high school years. She excelled in tennis and track & field, and her remarkable talent earned her the distinction of being the number two triple jumper in the state of California. Her competitive spirit and dedication inspired those around her.
Over the past five years, Beth faced cancer with extraordinary courage and resilience. Through it all, she stayed a beacon of positivity—her kindness brightened every room, and her ability to effortlessly make friends left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Beth’s presence will be deeply missed, but the light she brought into the lives of her family and friends will continue to shine. Her legacy is one of love, strength, and unwavering spirit.
