Elizabeth Ann “Liz” Lindsey (née Wrigge), born on December 27, 1950, in Petaluma, California, passed away on January 4, 2026, in Round Rock, Texas. She was 75 years old.

Liz retired in 2015 from St. Edward's University, where she worked in the Office of Academic Counseling and Support. Prior to that she worked for the Austin Independent School District for many years as a principal's administrative assistant.

Family was central to Liz’s life. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Suzanne O'Brien and son-in-law Kelly O'Brien; her son Jake Lindsey; her grandchildren Hannah Lyman and her spouse Ryan Lyman, Emily O'Brien, and James O'Brien; and her sister Linda Bayley and brother-in-law Mike Bayley.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jim Lindsey, as well as her parents William and Shirley Wrigge and her sweet dog and adventure companion, Amos.

Liz had a deep love for travel and adventure. One of her greatest joys was exploring the country in her cherished RV, affectionately named Josephine. She especially treasured her summers at the Blue Spruce RV Park in Bayfield Colorado where she created beautiful memories and made life-long friends. These journeys brought her immense happiness and allowed her to experience the beauty of the open road.

A bon voyage party celebrating Liz’s life will be held in Dripping Springs, Texas, on January 25, 2026.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
