Elizabeth Ann Lloyd Morrison, February 5th, 2026, passed away, entering into the presence of her Lord and Savior in Heavenly Eternal Life. Born in Wellsboro, PA, to her parents, Willard Evan and Elizabeth Ann (Pierce) Lloyd.
Elizabeth (Beth) lived in Wilkes-Barre / Kingston, PA until age 5 and moved to Port Gervis, NY with her parents and brother Willard Evan, Jr., so her dad could pursue a career in education that later inspired Beth and her brother. Before graduating in her senior year, her family moved to Towson, MD, where she graduated and attended the State University of Oneonta, NY. There, she earned her Bachelor's Degree in N-6 elementary education while her family moved to Scotia-Glenville, NY. Beth began teaching in the Schalmont School District, then later at Brown School, and for Child Care at the Schenectady YMCA.
During this earlier time, she married, former and now deceased Bruce F. Morrison. Together they raised sons, Jonathan Lloyd, Daniel Fernald, and Evan Thomas Morrison, her pride and joys. Her greatest love was for her faith and for her family, in creating lasting memories, building holiday traditions, sharing confidences, and supporting her boys' activities in music, art, Boy Scouts, sports, and school.
Over the years, Beth enjoyed dabbling in music, art, sewing, and crafts. She's grateful for the support from her First Presbyterian Church in prayer, encouragement, and the learning and growth from many Bible Study classes - a very present comfort.
To continue cherishing Beth's memory are her three sons. Jonathan (Joellyn Manville), Daniel, Evan Morrison; her three granddaughters Lillyann Rose, London Piper, and Millie Elizabeth Morrison; her brother Willard E. Lloyd Jr. (Betsey Roberts); her aunt Nola Nikel; her niece Amanda (Daniel) Ramalhete & son Cooper; her nephew Thomas Lloyd; nieces, nephews, cousins, extended loved ones, and friends.
On Feb. 21st, 2026, call hours start at 9 am in Scotia at the Bekkering-Ellis Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service at 10 am. Then the interment at Schenectady Memorial Park on Gifford Church Road in Schenectady.
Beth would like to encourage, in lieu of flowers, anyone to make a memorial donation to one of her favorite charities - United States Veterans, Cancer Research, Samaritan's Purse, Shriners, local Humane Societies and Rescue Shelters, and the Down Syndrome Support Groups.
