Elizabeth Betsy Stevens

Betsy Stevens met Bob in 1943; they married in 1949 and had five children, Eric, Carol (deceased), Judith, Patricia and Margaret, eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Raised in Baltimore, she attended Wilson College (PA) and remained a devoted alumna, attended reunions and maintained a wide correspondence with fellow graduates.
Betsy and Bob enjoyed travel during their retirement years. She journeyed to four continents and visited places in this country there hadn't been time for earlier. She worked for 30 years at what is now the Southwest Fisheries Science Center.
Intensely interested in politics, history and world events, she was a long-time member of the League of Women Voters, read widely and enjoyed conversation about virtually everything.
A lifelong and active Unitarian, she was a member of the First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Diego (4190 Front Street, San Diego) since 1957, where a memorial service will be held on March 14th at 1:00.
