Elizabeth Amber Thomas (Beth) of Waldorf MD abandoned all of her friends and family on January 13, 2026, surrounded by love, just the way she wanted it, at the young age of 45. To know Beth was to love her. She had a heart of gold and would quite literally give you the shirt off her back. She made friends everywhere she went and had the innate ability to make everyone love her (but really, what's not to love about her? Have you met her?). And she had the ability to make everyone laugh... like by reminding you that you can't beat her in cards because she has cancer.
Beth enjoyed a lot of things in life. Hops, her dog and best friend, being the most important of course, then her circle of people, views of the water, card games, meat lovers pizza, hanging out at the pub with her friends and so much more. She spent her life making it the best it could be for her despite the cards she was dealt along the way. She was truly a resilient, spectacular human being.
Beth had the gift to make you see the good in yourself when you couldn't do it yourself, even though she couldn't always see the good in herself.
Beth is preceded in death by her father, Dwain, with whom she now finally gets to see again. She leaves behind many friends and family that she loved so very much. And in those is a group of people that became family to her, and the ones that took care of her during her last weeks, and showed over and over again how much they loved her.
Beth would want you to cry a little right now, but also be happy for her because she's not in pain. But please never forget her. Because we promised her that no one would ever forget her. And she'll haunt you if you try to forget... in a loving funny way of course. Because she was truly a delight.
