Ellen Kaminsky (née Sullivan), born on November 21, 1934, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026, in Greenwich, Connecticut. She was 91 years old.
Ellen was the beloved daughter of the late Helen and Edward Sullivan and the cherished sister of Theresa (Tony) Carillo. She was predeceased by her brother, Edward Sullivan. Ellen's life was deeply enriched by her family, who were a source of immense pride and joy.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: Diane (Tony) Longo, Tom (Jeanne) Kaminsky, and Janet Fellmeth. Ellen's legacy continues through her grandchildren: Steve (Rebecca) Longo, Kevin (Mallory) Longo, Megan (Jay) D'Andrea, Danielle (Michael) Bracero, Tommy (Lauren) Kaminsky, and Katie (Joshua) Fellmeth. Her great-grandchildren—Layla, Luca, Zara, and Lucy Longo; Jack and Gabriella D'Andrea; Kiara and Brooke Breece; Rory Bracero; and Dax and Derek Kaminsky—were a constant source of delight in her later years.
