Ellen Shannon Lippincott (née Wright), 71, of Rochester, New York, passed away peacefully at home on December 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Ellen was born on August 3, 1954, to the late Raymond T. Wright and Mary D. Wright.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Gary Lippincott Sr.; her children, Mary Zeeshan, Gary Lippincott Jr. (Brianna Lippincott Diaz), and Susie Schmeer (Mike Schmeer); and her cherished grandchildren, Rayann, Mariana, Gian, Alaric, Elian, and Kayce. She is also survived by her siblings, Alicia Coakley and Raymond Wright Jr., as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Ellen was a warm and loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She was known for her generous heart and selfless nature—truly the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. Hardworking and honest, she loved her family deeply and unconditionally. Her kindness and compassion left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Private services will be held for immediate family.
