of Newton, MA, at the age of 80, on November 2, passed away peacefully with the love of his life, devoted wife, best friend and soulmate of 50 years Marilyn (Saks) and cherished daughter, Hayley by his side. They were truly blessed as they were his world and priority in life.
Elliot grew up in Dorchester and Milton, the beloved son of Harold and Thelma "Tillie" Goldstein. Father of daughter Hope (predeceased). The brother of Arnold (predeceased) and Ilene (Order). He leaves behind in-laws Marlene Goldstein, Susan and Harvey Wasserman, Holly and Larry Levine, and many nieces and nephews.
Elliot graduated from Milton High School and Bentley College. His professional career was an accountant, but he always had his personal priorities right in life - spending quality time with Marilyn and Hayley enjoying life, doing things he loved; traveling and attending theatre. He especially loved going to NYC to see Broadway shows. He loved the ocean and being on the beach. Boston sports, especially the Red Sox and New England Patriots. Watching The Three Stooges with Hayley. He loved music and dancing. His favorite treat was a fluffy Market Basket jelly donut! He appreciated the simple things in life like just going for a walk and just having a relaxing night at home watching TV. (MASH, Ted Lasso, and Shrinking being his favorites)
Elliot was a great pet dad to our dog Maypo (16 yrs) and cat Molly, who senses he's gone.
Everyone loved Elliot! Who couldn't? Who could resist his boyish charm, his beautiful smile, his contagious laughter and wonderful sense of humor. He was an endearing, bright light of joy and exemplary of true kindness; a real gentleman of integrity, who showed everyone respect.
The world has lost an amazing human being! You were truly blessed to have had him in your life.
