Eric Anderson

Eric Anderson, age 63 of Pigeon Falls, WI, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026 with family in attendance.
He was born on October 7, 1962 in Terra Haute, IN and grew up in LaGrange Park, IL. Having always enjoyed the times spent at his grandparents' farm in Whitehall, WI, he decided to move there after school and soon after met his future wife, Angie. Together, they settled in Pigeon Falls where they raised their family (along with their cherished dogs and cats).
Eric loved the outdoors - fishing, gardening, mini-golf, long walks with his dog-if he could be out in the sunshine, life was good. He and his daughter, Ericka took yearly trips to Beverly Shores, IN where they enjoyed time on the beach collecting crinoids and soaking up the sunshine! When not outdoors, he could probably be found eating a popsicle and watching the Chicago Cubs or Bears on TV.
He had a big personality and was known for his (not always good) jokes and unwavering dedication to those he loved. His outgoing, joking exterior hid a soft heart that cared deeply - not only for his family and friends, but for those he met along the way. He didn't always say it, but he showed it through his actions-mowing a neighbor's lawn, working in medical transport for those who needed assistance, getting up before his job to do custodial work for the church.
He went out of his way to help everyone, and it's fair to say that he never met a stranger in his life.He was intensely loyal, stoic, sensitive, silly, and gave the best rib-crushing bear hugs ever.
Eric was preceded in death by his parents, George and Josephine (Sylla) Anderson and his beloved wife Angie.
He is survived by his daughter, Ericka Anderson; son Nathan (Laura) Anderson; grandchildren, Jack and Luke; sister, Renee (Paul) Meier and mother-in-law, Gloria Hanvold.
While he is no longer here with us, we know his spirit always will be. We love you "Moondog".
