Eric Wiegel

Eric Wiegel, 63, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026, after a long battle with illness and is now at rest.

He loved fishing and being by the ocean and never met a stranger he didn't want to share a story with. He also had a deep love for country and rock music, especially the songs of Toby Keith, Darius Rucker, The Beatles, and Chicago. A devoted fan, he enjoyed cheering on Bellarmine University and University of Louisville athletics. Most of all, he cherished time spent with his daughters, Evelyn and Emily, and his family.

He is survived by his daughters, Evelyn and Emily, along with extended family and many friends.
